The City of Bécancour is located in the Saint-Laurent plain, Center-du-Québec region, at the crossroads of major communications routes. By bringing together eleven municipal corporations spread over a territory of 434 km2, the city of Bécancour became that day the largest city in Quebec in terms of surface area.
